Instead, I use a well-honed blend of psychological principles and business strategies that allow me to get to know you, help you to remove self-imposed obstacles, and guide you to confidently seize opportunities. According to my GALLUP Strengths Finder® Profile, Individualization, Relator and Responsibility are my top strengths. This means that I am naturally talented at emphasizing the unique traits of others, nurturing others’ needs to thrive, and keeping promises. My combined strengths and experience provide powerful outcomes for my clients. Many report that they have renewed passions and are able to travel, turn work off, and truly rest. Additionally, clients have doubled, tripled, and even quadrupled revenues because they feel confident and capable of managing themselves, their staff, and their businesses.
Bottom line, I find that coaching works best when we keep it focused, respectful, and sprinkled with the occasional bit of non-judgmental sarcasm. I am genuine and straightforward but never mean. Here’s how it works – I bring my skills, knowledge, and systems to the table, and you bring the courage to grow and accept responsibility for proactively moving towards your goals. There is no quick fix or magic pill. I explain that in more detail on my coaching page.
“Psychologists have the most training of any profession in understanding human motivation, behavior, learning and change, and if they’ve done clinical work, they have a depth of one-on-one experience far greater than that of people who aren’t mental health professionals. Coaching is actually a great fit with what most of us already do.” -Dr. Jeffrey E. Auberbach
By the way, I was trained by Dr. Auberbach at the College of Executive Coaching in 2006.
